About Monica

Monica Moreno is an experienced paralegal and office manager at The Carter Law Firm with over 25 years of experience in the legal profession. Monica is a Rio Grande Valley, Texas native and resides in Houston, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston with degrees in Political Science and Spanish. 

In addition to her legal work, Monica dedicates her time to political candidates and progressive causes in Harris County and throughout Texas. Monica has held leadership positions in numerous organizations, including the Texas Democratic Women-Harris County Metro dedicated to changing the face of power in Texas politics by recruiting, training and supporting women candidates. Monica loves to travel, the beach, and salt water fishing in her spare time.
